Building construction has begun for a new, exciting addition to the Wildwood Crest firehouse.  A 38' x 12' bay is being added to the front of the building, in front of the hall.

The existing landscaped has been removed and is being replaced by a room with a "wall of windows", behind which will sit "Old Betsy",
our recently refurbished 1927 American LaFrance pumper.
 
The construction, funded entirely by donations, will be done during the summer of 2003.  The new room will be lighted in the evenings and will
provide a stunning focal point for residents and visitors to enjoy!
