To become an Active Member of the
Wildwood Crest Volunteer Fire Company No. 1

you must:
1.) be a resident of the Wildwoods.
2.) be at least eighteen years of age and under forty-six years of age.
3.) hold a valid New Jersey Driver's License.

As a member, you will be required to:
1.) respond to at least 60% of fire calls and drills each year.
2.) attend the Firefighter I Course at the Cape May County Fire School during your first year of membership, and satisfy all training requirements established by the Chief.
3.) participate in the various fundraising activities conducted by the fire company during the year.
4.) serve on various committees as required by the fire company President.

To become a Junior Member of the
Wildwood Crest Volunteer Fire Company No. 1

you must:
1.) be a resident of the Wildwoods.
2.) be at least sixteen years of age and under eighteen years of age.
3.) have parental/guardian consent.

As a junior member, you will be required to:
1.) participate in basic firefighting training sessions (no live fire), including attending at least 60% of the scheduled drills.
2.) assist with equipment maintenance as required by the line officers.
3.) participate in the various fundraising activities conducted by the fire company during the year.
4.) serve on various committees as required by the fire company President.
